IES Martínez Montañés, Spain has celebrated the 25th anniversary of its first class of Diploma Programme (DP) students.

They held a celebratory event bringing together several generations of teachers and students, with the focus being on its former students and their achievements. Not only were former students invited, but also teachers, authorities of the educational community and current students.

One alumnus, Daniel Villar, conducted a survey of more than 100 former students of the school. The results of this showed the internationality of students with nearly a third of respondents currently residing abroad, in countries such as the United States, Bolivia, the United Kingdom and Morocco.

Manuel Jesus Rodriguez, president of the Alumni Association of the institute describes the DP as hard and sacrificed, but appreciates the capacity of effort and teamwork over those years.
