Deadline approaching for applications for the Jeff Thomson Research Award.
The Jeff Thomson Research Award is a competitive grant of up to US$15,000 to support research related to IB programmes, students, teachers and/or schools.
IB practitioners, graduate students and early career university researchers are eligible to apply for this grant, although preference will be given to practitioner research. In recent years, Jeff Thompson Award winners have explored issues such as:
- the most useful professional development opportunities from the perspective of Primary Years Programme (PYP) teachers
- using the IB Learner Profile to discuss bullying with students in the Middle Years Programme (MYP)
- the perception and implementation of Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) in the Diploma Programme (DP).
