Increasing access to an IB education has just taken another big step forward! Beginning in 2016, schools will be able to trial a freestanding two-year Middle Years Programme.
Following an IB rule revision, any school may apply for authorization to offer any two years of the MYP. Schools interested in applying for MYP candidacy under the revised rule can contact the IB from late June 2015. Trial implementation of the freestanding two-year MYP will begin early 2016.
