As the IB’s second global conference of the year, this dynamic three-day gathering will offer transformative professional learning, fresh perspectives on IB programmes, and forward-thinking dialogue on the evolving landscape of education.

The 2025 theme, “Our Humanity, Connected,” invites educators to explore how meaningful connections—with ourselves, each other, and the world— can shape learning in powerful ways. In an era of rapid change and global uncertainty, schools play a critical role in nurturing curiosity, compassion, and collaboration—skills essential to thriving in both local communities and an interconnected world.

This theme will guide keynote presentations, interactive breakout sessions, and collaborative workshops designed to inspire and connect IB educators throughout the region.

  • Pedro Noguera – A nationally recognized education leader and equity advocate, Dr. Noguera is Dean of USC’s Rossier School of Education and a trusted advisor to school systems and policymakers across the U.S.

  • Gloria Mark – A digital wellbeing expert and author of Attention Span, Dr. Mark is Chancellor’s Professor at UC Irvine and a leading voice on attention, technology, and productivity in education.

Throughout the conference, attendees will explore best practices for implementing IB programmes, engage in hands-on workshops to improve teaching and learning, network with a global community of educators and gain inspiration to lead with purpose and compassion in their schools.

As the only IB Global Conference hosted in the United States in 2025, New Orleans will set the tone for the year’s global dialogue on education, and we invite you to be part of it.
