The International Baccalaureate (IB) is delighted to welcome more than 1,600 educators, school leaders, and thought leaders from across Europe, Africa and the Middle East to the IB Global Conference in The Hague, taking place 23–25 October 2025 at the World Forum.
As the IB’s third and final global conference of the year, this vital three-day gathering will offer transformative professional learning, fresh perspectives on IB programmes, and forward-thinking dialogue on the evolving landscape of education.
The 2025 theme, “Our Humanity, Connected,” invites educators to examine the new skills and competencies young people need to flourish academically and beyond. By focusing on the unique human qualities and capabilities of self-awareness, empathy, and innovation, schools and educators can play a salient role in preparing students for an uncertain future with confidence.
Following on from Singapore and New Orleans, this theme will continue to guide keynote presentations, interactive breakout sessions, and collaborative workshops designed to inspire and connect IB educators throughout the region.

As the final IB Global Conference of 2025, The Hague will serve as a moment to reflect on a significant year. The event will also lay the foundation for the 2026 conferences, inspiring innovative strategies and generating new ideas to advance IB education worldwide. We eagerly await your thoughts and contributions.
