In Jordan, HRH Princess Sarvath Al Hassan inaugurated a new building at Amman Baccalaureate School (ABS), for students in grades 11 and 12.
According to the article in the Jordan Times, the building will teach the IB – making ABS one of only 24 schools in the world to offer all four International Baccaulaureate® (IB) programmes. Princess Savarth is Chairwoman of the school's board of trustees.
The IB's Director General, Dr Siva Kumari, also attended the opening - alongside "Chris Solly, director of the World Academy of Sport, and members of the board of trustees, ABS alumni, staff, parents and students".
Named after the school's founding members, the new Randa Kawar Building has social and dining areas for post-16 students, and media and university counselling centres.
